Virtualrehab at multiple sclerosis conference in Dublin

 

The European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP) is celebrating its Spring Conference in Dublin between the 8th and 9th of May with the theme “Care where it counts- as a journey with MS”, coinciding with the organization’s 25th anniversary.

The first conference sponsored by RIMS (Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis), the European network on research and best practices will focus on rehabilitation, on the needs of carers and on young people with MS.

During the second day, and in collaboration with the MS Society of Ireland, the focus will turn to key developments and best practice in MS

On Thursday the 8th of May at 14:15, Julio Alvarez, Director of the Health Department at Virtualware, will take part in the session Rehabilitation in Action – A wellbeing market place, presenting VirtualRehab ****as a clear example of a technological solution which has led to significant improvements in patients with MS using the solutions. Mr. Alvarez will also be presenting the results of a clinical study with MS patients showing the validity and effectiveness of VirtualRehab and which were recently presented at the 8th World Conference on Neurorehabilitation in Istanbul.
