Virtualware will be exhibiting for the first time at Medica, the World Forum for Medicine, which takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 14th to the 17th. Medica is the global reference in the health technology sector where the latest technological advances in medicine are shown by some of the most important companies in the field.

Virtualware will use this important event to launch VirtualRehab 4.0, the latest version of its CE certified neurorehabilitation platform that has been used by thousands of patients around the world. Virtualware will join 100 other UK medical device manufacturers and service providers that form part of the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI) at the UK Pavilion in Hall 16.

VirtualRehab is a clinically validated and CE certified product for rehabilitation that is directed to clinics, hospitals and healthcare centres to help treat patients with some degree of physical or neurological disability. Using off-the-shelf motion capture technologies including the Microsoft Kinect and Leap Motion, coupled with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, allows patients to perform complex rehabilitation exercises through engaging games while allowing physiotherapists to create and track the therapy sessions from any location.
