We’ve added 5 new games based on feedback from therapists and patients around the world that work various functions such as balance, weight transfer, reach, hand-eye coordination, trunk control, flexibility, bending, crouching, cross lateral movement of arms as well as increase aerobic exercise and fall prevention. The new games include: Sit-Stand: Starting in a seated position, the user must reach a target then lowers from the ceiling with their head by standing straight up from the chair....

Cable and Wireless and the INMFR of Panama introduce a new model of virtual rehabilitation

 

Cable & Wireless Panama, a leader in providing telecommunications services and connectivity in Panama, and Virtualware, a company who specializes in the development of immersive and interactive technologies, have signed an agreement for the installation of VirtualRehab in various locations in Panama. The deal includes the licensing, installation, and training of health personnel from the National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (INMFR) in Panama and Reintegra Centers located in Penonomé, Villa de los Santos and Santiago, which will use VirtualRehab to assist in physical rehabilitation of patients with varying degrees of physical disabilities....

Preview of latest version of VirtualRehab at the Neurological Rehabilitation Expo

 

Virtualware will be previewing the latest version of VirtualRehab this week at the Neurological Rehabilitation Expo taking place June 15th and 16th at the ExCel Centre in London.
